Triple Comparators/Logic

clee 4U synth DIY Yusynth transistor ladder filter 

This module contians three voltage comparator circuits, each with a positive and negative input and an offset control connected to the negative input.

The output will be high (aprox 5v) when the positive input is higher than the negative input (jack and offset combined) and low (0v) when the opposite is true. All inputs and the offset are bi-polar, accepting both positive and negative voltages.

 

The 3 outputs are internally conected to the 3 logic circuits. AND, OR, and XOR logic outputs. The XOR output will be logic low when all 3 comparator outputs are high.

STROBE will turn all outputs off when high, regardless of any input.

Circuit modifications

Offset range :
The offset pots have a range of +5V to -5V
You can adjust this range by selecting the LM4040 or Zener diode voltage

Output Voltage :
The output voltage is aprox 5.v
The voltage is set by the voltage dividers at the emitter of the transistors. Increasing the lower resistor value will increase the output voltage

LEDs :
RLED values set the LED brightness. My build uses 33K resistors. Set this for the type of LED you're using and the desired brightness
